Please read these terms carefully before using Selos Rentals.

Welcome to Selos Rentals. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, browsing equipment listings, or completing a rental through Selos Rentals, you accept and agree to these terms. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

2. Use of the Platform

Selos Rentals is a marketplace connecting equipment owners with renters in Ghana. You may use the platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You agree not to:

  • Misrepresent your identity or provide false information
  • Use the platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Interfere with or disrupt the platform or its security
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any accounts or systems
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users or our staff

3. Accounts and Registration

To book equipment or list your equipment, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information and update it as needed.

4. Rentals and Bookings

When you book equipment through Selos, you enter into a contract with the equipment owner. Selos acts as an intermediary and is not the owner of the equipment. Payment terms, rental duration, and handover details are as agreed between you and the owner via the platform. You must use the equipment only for its intended purpose and return it in the same condition, subject to fair wear and tear.

5. Equipment Owners

If you list equipment on Selos, you represent that you have the right to rent it and that it is in safe, working condition. You must honour confirmed bookings and comply with our Rental Policy and any applicable laws. Selos may remove listings or suspend accounts for non-compliance.

6. Fees and Payments

Fees for rentals and any platform or service charges will be displayed before you confirm a booking. Payment is processed through our designated payment provider. All fees are in Ghana Cedis (GHS) unless otherwise stated. Refunds are subject to our Refund Policy and Cancellation Policy.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Selos Rentals is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform or rented equipment. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant rental or service in the twelve months preceding the claim. Equipment is rented "as is"; we do not guarantee suitability for a particular purpose beyond the description provided by the owner.

8. Disputes

Disputes between renters and owners should first be raised through our support channels. Where applicable, disputes may be resolved in accordance with the laws of Ghana. We encourage fair communication and timely resolution.
